Some of you might have seen this well worn (and front sight missing) 2213 at Tulsa the other weekend. I wasn't expecting to see it still there on Sunday when I went back through my list of guns to check on, but there it was. Paid a little more for it than I thought it was probably worth, but thought it would make for a good shooter gun project. The front sight was easy enough to acquire as was the suppressor adapter, then all I had to do was clean up the slide. Being stainless I just figured I'd polish it up and bead blast everything but the flats. However once I got it cleaned up and completely flat I decided to checker the top strap like a Mod 27. Not sure what to do with the finish on the frame, the markings (including serial number) are so light that I'm afraid they'll disappear if do any polishing/beadblasting - will just stay as is for now. All in all I'm pretty happy with how it turned out - especially for the $250 I now have in it!
