I inherited a S&W 4506-1 from my father in law. Looking for holsters and any aftermarket parts to modify it. Also looking for more magazines. Love this gun very nice

Going to be pretty hard to find aftermarket parts. I installed the Milliett Series 100 adjustable sights for my 4506-1. Took me a while to complete as I needed the correct front sight height and finally got it a month ago off flea bay. Holsters you can find quite a bit on flea bay some leather holsters for less than 25 shipped.

A quick search shows the most common aftermarket parts include 10-round magazines from Midway at $18 each; Hogue grips for around $25 from several places; various power recoil springs from Wolf; and a range of replacement sights and lasers.

Perhaps replacing the recoil spring, adding Hogue grips, and a nice holster would be a good place to start without breaking the bank.

Holsters and mags of course, but there is very little in the way of modifying that these old boys need.

I love my 4506! I hate hogue grips so I would try shooting it without before buying them. Also, magazine prices have shot way up. I was happy finding them for $25 each but now they seem to run over $30. Lots of nice leather holsters available.
