Friend has a 41 that is both 22LR and 22Short. He wants to trade.
He has no back history. Frame is marked 41 not 41-1. I guess
someone just bought a Short conversion and put it together.
Is my assumption on target?
Yes I would also assume that is what it is. He must have both the barrel for the shorts and at least one magazine for them as well. If it was marked 41-1 then it would be the short model only.
Were there any magazines included? The 5 shot 22 short are not impossible to find. The prices seem to hover around $ 250.00 . The 22 short model 41-1 is fun to shoot and collect. Sn. 16216 gun and box. This SN indicates that the 41-1 kit was added to the 41' Assume both are 7 3/8" bbls. May do better by selling separately. Might verify both slide stop/ejectors are with the package. Kit would have bbl, slide, slide stop, spring, and mag.
