Default Date of S&W Model 41

My gun library is packed for an upcoming move to Georgia and my copy of The Standard Catalog of S&W is unavailable. Would someone kindly look up the date of a 5.5" Model 41, serial number UAP4531? It has the standard S&W revolver rear sight. Thanks in advance.
Bob

It doesn't look like the SCSW 4th edition is very helpful.

Under the section "Reported trip-alpha .22 rimfire pistols:
1994 - UAH, UBA
1997 - UAM
2009 - UCE
2013 - UCU, UDR

The above list is all that is published.

I have UAZ. The fired cartridge with it is dated Jun 2001. That would narrow your UAP to somewhere between 1997 and 2001.

Probably 1998. I purchased mine with prefix UAR in June of 1998.

Not everybody can just throw $75.00 out there for the letter. Every household budget is different especially if you are pensioned off and don't get regular raises like mine.

A quick email to Smith & Wesson customer service will get a response with the month and year that it left the factory. Usually I get my response in 1 business day.
