Where can I find a list of ALL S&W semi-autos with spurred hammers?
Where can I find a list of ALL S&W semi-autos with spurred hammers?
I've been searching the forum and elsewhere but I can't find such a list. Surely someone has compiled one.

I'm not sure you are going to find such a list. Likely the closest you'll get is the SCSW. You may not be aware but there is a significant number of models one can find equipped with either spurred or spurless hammers depending on how they were spec'd by the ordering distributor or LE agency. FYI... 3rd gen hammers for TDA models, with a few caveats, interchange across the entire lineup of TDA 3rd gen guns.
Cheers
Bill

Among regular issue (non special order) S&W pistols, compacts (barrels shorter than 4") would have been cataloged with spurless hammers and full size pistols (barrels 4" and longer) would have been cataloged with spurred hammers.

An unusual request and doubt a list like that has ever been made. YOU could be the first to offer one!

That would be a rather time consuming undertaking.
How about this instead?
Individual members post the models of S&W semi-autos they KNOW have external hammers?
After a time when there are no new posts, I'll make a list of all those mentioned broken down by generation and then numerically by model number within the generation and post it right here.
I'll start.
3rd generation - models 910, 915. Both 9mm.
Yeah, I know. That was easy. But the list has to start somewhere, right?

^^^^^^^^ is a good general rule.
But Special/Deptment/Agency orders...... can go either way........
Also I've seen a lot of folks add spurred hammers to compacts and flush fit hammers to full size guns. I've got a 3913 and a 6906 that have spurred hammers...... the 6906 also has a second 4" upper from a 915..... for a
if I want a "6915"

Or you can go to the "Notable Thread Index" and find it there.

Always an exception
The 4" bbl. or longer rule, for having a spurred hammer, goes out the window when you consider the 1066, 1076, both 4-1/4" bbls., had bobbed/spurless hammers. Looks like the 5" 1026 also was bobbed. While not special order items they had a limited catalog run.
The 1990 S&W Handgun catalog called them "serrated" or "bobbed" hammers.

Sound like a great idea, I'll add a little revision section the next time I update it. The last time it was revised was on 1/31/2018, but I'm not sure if I was updating the production tab or the performance center tab.
