Just bought a new to me 5906 and it has two hallmarks on the base of the grip(metal part).
Can anybody explain these to me?

Thanks

Per previous posts jbtrucker pointed to, _and_ there is an R1 stamped inside slide. R1 appears to be a Revision 1 pistol.
