Wink SW22 Victory question

Hello;
I was just cruising the Tandemkross site, and saw a Magazine Safety replacement for the SW 22 Victory. It looked very well-made, stainless steel, and all, but my question is WHY? My SW 22's magazine safety seems to work just fine, and be sufficient to the job! Doesn't the factory magazine safety work well? Is it likely to break, or is this another screw loosening thing? If you don't like the feature, it looks easy enough to remove ... not that I would EVER, you understand... "problem(?)" solved!

Whilst on the subject, I would like grips that are just a smidge thicker in the middle for my SW22, and a bit more handsome. Does anyone make such?

Actually, the replacement shown on the Tandemkross site elimates the magazine safety disconnect function but still offers positive ejection of the magazine. Some shooters just take the magazine safety lever and spring out of their pistol to accomplish this, but this causes weak ejection of the magazine from the pistol.
