can't find sights to fit
I recently bought a nice CS9 and i would like to upgrade to fiber optic sights. Not finding much that fits. Any suggestions? I probably don't need night sights cause at my age i'm in bed before the sun goes down every night anyway.

10-8 Performance makes or made a f/o front for the S&W E series 1911s that have the correct dovetail to fit your gun but suspect that one would be too tall for a CS9.
Also Dawson Precision makes f/o fronts for 59xx guns in a variety of heights so you can select the proper height for your pistol.
The pic below is my '1014' with the 10-8 f/o front

BMCM Yes they did make a 46 in two different batchs. I own one from 1963 which I use as a backup to my M41.

Just pulling your leg a little on the 46 question as there is two correct answers to that question. A Yes and a NO.
