Default Help me with value of CS40

I have a very good condition (98%) CS40 that I am looking to sell. However, I really do not know what to ask for it. It has its original blue case, 3 mags, and manual.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I would guess that value would run between $400-$500. I bought one this spring that wasn’t as nice w/o box for $350. Although .40 S&W has fallen out of favor with many the fact that CS40 can be converted to 10mm has kept demand up.

The big internet auction site has several with box and manual at a starting price of $500 to $525.

Last year, I bought a stainless CS40 with one extra mag for $425 that was in mint condition without the box. Yesterday, I picked up an all blued CS40 that appears to be 80-85% with one mag for $280.

I find that gun buyers follow trends like the car or stock buyers. Today's ugly duckling is tomorrow's darling, so I see the out-of-favor .40 caliber pistols as a buyer's opportunity. We seem to be rotating into .380 now.

Would I be in the ball park if I asked 480 shipped with 2 mags and then sold the 3rd mag for 60 shipped?

Thanks again for your help

Those pix seem to indicate that it is in very good shape and the original box is a big plus for some folks (like yours truly).

What you do with the 3rd magazine is your business if it's not going to be sold with the gun. I'd say $480 shipped (w/box and 2 mags) is a decent asking price if the gun is really as nice as it looks in the pix. It would be a bit too high for me to justify, but I'm just a dirt poor old man who shouldn't be buying more guns anyway.

On the off chance you're unfortunate enough to be in CA, I just paid $600.00 for mine. Looks new, but no box and only one magazine.
