1st Gen Bodyguard .380 - value?
I plan on selling both my 1st generation Bodyguard .380's. Both have been shot often and carried but are in very good condition. Neither laser works.
What would be a fair price to offer for sale online in Pittsburgh?
Thanks for any help!!

Check the prices on new 380 Bodyguards (there are lots of sales: use the sale prices), then deduct 35% as a starting point.
Bodyguard 380’s are so frequently discounted new, that used ones with non working lasers would need to be aggressively discounted to sell.

I would think 200 bucks would be reasonable. I can't see getting much more than that. That's what I sold my gen 2 M&P 380 for.

Where I am, current production BG's can be bought NIB for $219 plus tax (without laser).

Is it too late to get the mothership to replace the lasers with Crimson Trace lasers under warranty/lifetime service policy? Without those fixes and being down in PA (cheap used gun capital of the world apparently), I wouldn't be too optimistic.

I agree. If S&W will fix these (as they should), then they'll have some value. Otherwise, they really aren't worth that much.
That's the down side of mass produced polymer framed guns. They are cheaper to produce, but there are so many of them that there's zero chance that they'll hold anything close to their original value.

Greetings from the Burbs of the "cheap used gun capitol of the world".......I'd say not much ......if the lasers don't work most folks around here would question ...... what else is wrong with it????? And pass altogether!!!!
Good luck................
FWIW I got an anib (never fired), used, Gen1 M&P 9 , w/2 mags last year for $300 out the door........ new Gen2 were in the case for $525.
