The 915 arrived today.

The only blemish is the rear sight, where it appears someone tried to remove it with pliers

After I won the auction I went over the pics again, noticed the sight and contacted the seller.

The sight damage is not as bad as I originally thought it was. But then again, I did blowup the pics of the sight to somewhere around the size of the Texas.

Anyway, I called the seller and he agreed to ship the pistol free and to forgive the 3% credit card fee since the sight damage was not mentioned in the description.

Grand total? $305.

I would have happily paid more for this pistol. There were a mere five bids. Everyone was trying to steal it, I guess. But I ended up the lucky thief.

The box is original and labeled to the pistol. It came with all the paperwork and one OEM mag and one no-name mag. But I had a spare OEM Mag for it.

It came to me clean as a whistle. I field stripped it and it is pristine inside and out. Bore is perfect and the rifling looks great.

I'm extremely happy today. I think you would be too.

Thanks Barrie. I've been waiting to find a 915 in this kind of condition for a long time.

I had another 915 that I just, and I mean today, sold. A friend of mine always liked it and when I called him today, he snapped it up.

The one I sold him was in VG - VG+ condition and I charged him "break even" money, $305, just what I payed for the new one.

I could have gotten more money from him or elsewhere, but what the heck. I got a good deal so I gave him one too.

For that price and in that condition I challenge you to find a better handgun from any maker, in any caliber, for defense. Perfect!
