S W 22 Victory
I like my new Victory, and have fired maybe 200 rounds, with only two failures to chamber...Winchester Super X 38 gr. HP ammo; apparently both missed the chamber, bashed against the breech face and were bent in a semicircle.
Magazine safety: I've never been a fan, and would like to deactivate it.
Tandemkross apparently offers a device to replace it, but I understand it may cause poor magazine ejection. I LIKE the way my Victory ejects its magazines!
Other than Tandemkross, is there a device offered that will deactivate the magazine safety, and still retain the positive magazine ejection, or a reversible DIY "fix"?

Why bother as it works great the way it is?

Just remove it(but keep it in case you need warranty work). I removed mine and there was no change in mag ejection.

I have left my Victory's magazine safety intact. I like the way the magazine is ejected positively and the safety doesn't bother me at all.

I've got the TK replacement in my Victory. It's the same as the original except the part that interfaces with the safety is missing. You still have the part that ejects the magazine.
You could just cut the top of the original off if you'd rather. A cut with a pair of cutters and a minute with a file would do it.

I bought the gun last year and the first Time I took it to the range, it misfired every two - three rounds. Sent it back to Smith & Wesson and they replaced the ejector. Much better now but still jams occasionally. I had a Ruger Mark II previously and fired 1000 rounds without a single jam. Not happy!

Mariano3905 Welcome to the Forum. As they have replaced your ejector once already it may need to be tweeked a wee bit bit more with Needle Nose pliers. This is somewhat of a common problem with these but once its set right they are a great gun to shoot. I would also suggest putting a NO.61 O-ring on the barrel screw as well for future cleaning. It will help keep the barrel stay tight when you are shooting but come unloose when needed to come onloose.

The O-ring works great but it you don't have the new improved takedown screw just call S&W and they will send you one free of charge. But I bet since you bought yours last year it already has one.

Just got a victory a few weeks back. (Never being a fan of S&W entry level 22's) I was actually surprised on how well it shot. No stoppages of any kind and it grouped better than I can see these days. Love the factory FO sights and the trigger is darn good. ( Better than a factory Ruger MK IV for sure)
I've since changed the grips and added a modified extended mag release just becasue... I also purchased the TK mag disconnect replacement but decided not to put it in as the disconnect does not effect the trigger pull at all. Personally, after seeing the TK replacement Mag disconnect , I would just leave the factory part out if I wanted that safety omitted.
Here is a picture of the first 10 shots out of mine (bone stock at 40' ). I was shooting cci mini mags at a moderate pace testing for function vs accuracy but ended up impressed with both!
p.s It's been out to the range twice as of today. It ate Federal Auto Match like candy and is still running 100% . No issues with the factory TD screw loosening either.

Thanks for your reply. Re: needle nose pliers, what specifically is involved while tweeking the ejector?
Thanks

Mine ejects the shells so far, I’ve had complaints from fellows farther down the line. Straight out the side at least a good 20 feet. I now try to set up at the range a ways away from everyone else when I’m shooting it.

Check out post #30 in this thread. I had the same problem with my Victory 22, and found this an easy fix. I actually used a thin screwdriver blade to move the ejector a bit more to the middle, and that solved the problem.
