Default Laser on a 2nd gen

Is there a laser mount for the 2nd generation guns with the squared trigger guards? My eyesight is almost as old as the rest of me and could use some help. Specifically, I have a 469, but I think the trigger guard dimensions are the same across the 2G guns.

Nothing in current production of which I am aware.

A few years back, I recall seeing some "universal" lasers that clamped to the front of the "any" trigger guard and hung the laser module out in front like a diving board.

I don't know how it could have held a zero and that's probably why they are gone.

Lasermax produced a "guide rod laser" that replaced the (you guessed it) guide rod.

I have one and it's very slick and well built, but unfortunately, it was only made for the full size (four inch barreled) pistols and would stick out the front of a 3 1/2" inch barreled compact (like the 469) 1/2".

Also no longer available.

Last but not least, the B-Square company marketed a "no gunsmithing" (no drill and tap) scope mount that was designed specifically for the square trigger guard 2nd and 3rd gen pistols.

I have a couple and they fit well and are rock solid, but they are scope mounts and therefore are kinda big and clunky.

No good for concealment and also discontinued.

Sorry but those are the only ones that come to mind.

John

What a bummer. Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to be content with a squint
