Default Any recommendations for a gunsmith in the east of DFW area?

My new to me 1911 needs some work done. While I might be able to do the work, I also have questions about this thing. It would take forever to pick someone's brain over the net. But face to face, I could frame questions, based on the answers I get. So does anyone have any ideas? I'd consider anyone that's highly recommended, anywhere in North East Texas, but prefer the Tyler area.

I recall reading in another forum awhile back that Mac's had 1 or 2 gunsmiths. The person who asked the question never came back and talked about the quality of work. Sorry I can not help you further.

Frank Smith - LSG was the last of the former S&W warranty service stations outside of the factory.

I've found a guy locally. He's gotten good reviews on one of the 1911 forums. Frank Crowley, apparently he only works on the 1911 platform. He said he would work on it. If I drop it off it'll take a couple hours. Never heard of almost while you wait service. But he said it probably needed a trigger job. So I'll give him a crack at it.
