Default SW 22lr Victory.

I bought the threaded barrel version about a year ago. It has been a good shooter and I’m still fond of shooting it. They used to sell quick when they first came out, but now they seem to be slow moving at the LGS. I find mine accrue at 25 yards, a bit picky with standard velocity ammo, loses reliability when dirty and my take down screw has never been found loose. Overall, for the price to fun ratio, I find it winner.

I love mine also. No real issues except the nylon bumper on the back of the frame cracked and had to send to S&W for repair. Only held in with a small roll pin but they said they could not send me the part. Got it back in about 2-1/2 weeks.

hopefully the reason to get it back was to find out why it cracked.

Never could get S&W to give me the reason. The bumper does have a small square notch on the top left portion towards the barrel. I just noticed cracks. Maybe that is natural?

Since I’ve shot mine a few 100 times over the weekend, I’ll check for cracks. It needs a good cleaning.

We have had only one report of a White Bumper being damaged ever reported on the forum that I have witnessed so far. I believe it may have been a weird one to happen.

Bulova,
I emailed S&W c.s. about buffer wear (yeah, I shoot it a lot), and they sent me a replacement for free. The original buffer is still hanging in there, but I think another few thousand rounds will do it in. :-)

My local gun shop sold a couple early-on but he has had one in stock for almost a year with very little interest and no takers. His prices are really fair so it can't be a pricing problem.
