A while back, I managed to pick up a 4006 "Shorty 40" at a gunshow for a reasonable price; the downside was no box/papers/only 1 magazine, and the previous owner had installed "Big Dot" sights (V rear, large front night night). Unfortunately, I detest the Big Dot sights, and would like to return the configuration to the original. I've looked at examples on gun broker, and have seen 3 different types on those for sale. The serial # on mine is in the PCS0300-range (1st group?), so I believe that it should have fixed night sites. Can anyone confirm, and advise the make/model of the originals, so I can try to obtain some?

Mine is a second run and came with the Novak white dot rear sight and white dot front.

Mine is a 2nd run too with (3) dot white Novaks.

I had an issue with mine hitting low. Ended up changing the front sight & ultimately changed the rear (.249") to a LPA TPU91SW30 adjustable rear.
