952-2 vs PPC9 accuracy
Is PPC9 more accurate as 50 yards than 952-2? Or they are both about the same ?

Side by side
I did a side by side test of them informally and posted on this board with pictures and found the PPC9 more accurate but to be sure the test would have to include more ammunition choices and a ransom rest.

Both of these pistols effectively have the same top end, save for a different rear sight and front sight on the PPC-9.
I believe it is no stretch to say that any edge one has over the other would simply be a case by case basis, and a 3rd example (or 4th, 5th, etc) could yield back and forth results.
If someone could propose a valid mechanical advantage or argument for one over the other, I'd be interested to hear such an argument.

Sevens:
My thought process for the PPC9 being more accurate is that MAYBE they were more finely tuned and fitted because they were going directly to competition in LE hands.
But only a guess/wish as I really like the PPC9s.

I'd have a difficult time with that because, at least the way I read it... it suggests that 952's (...and, well... every other model made back in the real Performance Center) weren't getting every craftsman's best effort. And from what I have seen from real PC 5 and 6-inch Limited target pistols, that simply isn't a "thing."
My circle of close friends has a number of these phenomenal handguns. Just sticking to the full size target pistols, most are represented including the 3566 Limited, 952/no dash, dash-1 and dash-2, both 5 and 6-inch PPC-9, a handful of 945's, a number of 845's and a half dozen 52's (which, IMO, belong in this conversation) and each example is simply a stunner.
Nobody today (that I am aware of) makes pistols quite like these.
The only thing more similar to a PPC-9 than a 952 is the 3566 Limited, which is very nearly the same pistol with a different look and a slightly longer chamber.
I would also throw in the idea that the average PPC-9 has most likely had a lot, a LOT more rounds through it than a typical 952 you'll run across.
