Default Show me your ASP

Anyone here lucky enough to have an ASP or a Devel? Please take this opportunity to show them off! I want to see some detailed pics... make me jealous, please. I think the ASP is one of the coolest pistols ever made, and I love the story behind it. I wouldnít overlook the Devel version either. Theyíre both splendid little blasters. Once day I hope to have one or the other

the 669 is a fine pistol but other than being the same caliber and close in size there is no comparison in relation to an asp or a devel. but to each his own as they say.

i do have a devel buried deep in a safe. if i get around to it in the next few days i may dig it up and take a few pics.

Stunning example s&wchad! lve never seen the leather case with the ASP logo before. Then again I havenít seen many of these at all. I so wonder what itís like to line up that guttersnipe and how fast it is. Iíd pay actual money just to hold that pistol lol

Thanks!
I’ve never shot it, so I can’t offer much on the speed of the sight. Paris Theodore designed these as a close range combat weapon, where you point shoot looking over the top of the slide and pick up the guttersnipe in your peripheral vision. I’m sure it’s better than no sights at all, but it’s no target pistol!

I would love to shoot it, but they’re worth silly money, parts are all but non-existent and the teflon finish is soft and marks easily. I’d probably shoot a Devel (if I could find one at a decent price), because stainless doesn’t show wear near as fast.

That is the perfect carry piece that no one would carry. Thanks for posting it next to the 39 also. Amazing

This is the only one I have. Devel Model 39-2 Full House Conversion. I have shot it. It's really a nice piece of craftsmanship. IMO

Not an ASP, or a Devel, but I love this little Austin Behlert M59.

Doesn't like light target loads but purrs with +Ps. Easily one of the most accurate pistols I have.

in his comment above the pic he said it's a 39-2 so it's a single stack. a double stack would be a 59.

Not mine, I passed, but I helped my LGS price it and get it sold on GB.

Devel

This is close as I have, bobbed beaver-tail, Hi-Power cut slide, night sites, mag safety out and the trigger has been slicked up. Got it cheap.
