Let's see those Factory Engraved model 39's

There has been much speculation as to how many Factory engraved pre-39's were made. Lets see how many of them we can get posted. Also post any Factory engraved 39's and 39-2's. I'll kick this off with my own engraved pre 39 and 39-2, both lettered.

Factory engraved Nickel 39-2, S/N A182251, shipped January 16, 1974 to Davidson Supply Company, Greensboro, NC. Class A Engraved by Smith & Wesson engraver Tommy Freyburger.

KSK, Love that engraved nickel 39-2. I'M Looking for one of them for my collection. Tommy Freyburger also engraved the blue 39-2 I posted. Virginia Le Blanche did the blue pre 39.

Thanks Couger015. Great looking pair of engraved Model 39s! The style of engraving on your blued Freyburger Engraved 39-2 looks very similar to my nickel one. The red ramp front sight is a nice touch on these guns too.
