Model 52-1
In the mid '80,I had bought a model 52.In the foolishness of my youth,I sold it...and of course regretted it.
Today feels like it's Christmas;I just got my new to me 52-1.
Since my wife didn't seem to share my excitement,I thought I'd share with you guys.
And wait, the best is yet to come!I paid $500 for it.Yep,it must be Christmas!

"Maybe a Canadian thing?"
Doubtful, Model 52's of any flavour don't frequently show up for sale up here. I'm sure there is a story, but I concur with everyone else: Pic's or it didn't happen.

My pride and joy is a 52-1 I picked up a few years ago, unfired but no box, tool, or extra mag. Paid more than $500 however.
By the way, what were the dates of manufacture on the 52-1?

If you want, I can either send you a step by step tutorial on posting pic's (it's easy) or you can email the pic's to me at: [email protected] and I'll post them on your behalf.

now that I know how, here are some more
At first,I was afraid the BoMar rib would slow down the travel of the slide but it works perfectly with regular target loads. And the thing is way more accurate than I.I've shot aprox 250 rds single hand this week end without a hiccup.
Many fun range sessions coming up!

Yes,I'm in Canada.I've found that for used guns since the demand up here is not the same as in the USA the prices are about on par with US prices;considering our CA$ is worth aprox 30%less,we can find bargains.Of course,we have to pay that 30%premium when we buy new.

Now that's a steal considering the fact that a Model 52 normally sells in Canada for about $1500CDN ($1150US). Who did you steal it from ?

Just to wet your apetite,3 years ago I bought a1956 Python from the 1st owner for $600.The gun had exactly 13 shots fired through it;12 .38spl and 1 .357 Mag.
Must have been born under the right star!
