Default Any mod 59 shooters?

I bought a grab bag of assorted stuff mainly for a set of grips. There was this bag of stuff supposed to be from Mod 59 Mags. Also looks to be a few other assorted parts and springs. I’m not trying to sell it. If you can use it, post a reply and pm me your address. Just cover the postage. If it’s junk, let me know and I’ll throw it away

I wouldn't call any of it "junk" (but then I'm the crazy type that keeps basically everything no matter any true value... ) but I would say the items you show are better titled "S&W 1-2-3rd gen double stack 9mm parts" and in the case of the extractor and small bits... parts that fit multiple 1-2-3rd Gens.

All the mag floor plates of plastic are 3rd Gens. The two grip pins are also 3rd Gens. The recoil spring might be the right spec for any of 20 different S&W models! In theory... that extractor might work for nearly ANY post-1971 S&W 1-2-3rd in 9mm, except a couple short-printed oddball 2nd Gens from the mid-1980's.

They look like good parts, not junk, but also not rare or hard to find. I believe some folks will see your post and find goodies they can use!

I'm glad at least it is not junk. I'm a revolver guy and my limited knowledge on semis is on 1911's. It was advertised at mod 59 parts, so that's what I called it. Hopefully it can be of some use to one of the brothers out there. Thanks for the info, at the least I learned something

If I'm not too late, I'd love to have that grab bag.
