Frankengun wondering...
CS9. Thinking about night sights. Means slide might have to go to BMCM.
So ... now I have to wonder what a 3914 slide on a CS9 frame would look like, and if possible.

As Bill alluded to, there would be a gap between the CS9 dustcover and the front lug of the 3914 slide, making this combo a no-go for all practical purposes. There is no other 3rd Gen slide that will go onto a CS9 frame without that front gap being present.
A 3913TSW pre-rail or a 3913/14 with the flush-fit metal baseplate 7-round magazine would both achieve the desired result safely. If you can get your hands on one of the 7-round mags (they were early 3913 Ladysmith mags) it would be the cheapest option. Attached are a few images of one compared to a CS9 magazine.
