Default Completed my quest for the trilogy...

Picked up a 39-2 today.

Traded a Browning FN 1922 with Eagles as partial trade which made the pistol and two spare mags a reasonable investment. Not 100 percent but will make a nice shooter...

It will go well with its two siblings....

They all look nice to-gether. You should be set for a while now. Nice guns to collect and enjoy.

Very nice! The first and second generation single stack S&W 9mm pistols are handsome firearms and seem to fit the hand so well.

Some 5 or more years ago I walked into my local gun shop and seeing a M39 in the case asked to check it out. Just the feel of it in my hand told me I had to have one.

Some year or so later I walk in and saw what I thought was a M39 and asked to check it out and that was when I learned of the 52-2 and bought it right than.

About a year ago there I am in the same shop and a gentleman was just completing sale of the 952 to the shop owner and I said Ill take it. I knew the secret by than.

M39s have come and gone through the shop I just wasnt ready to buy.

This one came in and I decided to get rid of the Browning I bought under pressure of someone looking to get rid of it.

A neat historical gun but not something Ill ever shoot....

Ill get real utility out of the M39.

Just need to find a good holster for it. Was hoping to get a Garrett Industry Silent Thunder but apparently they dont mold leather lined Kydex for the M39.

I wonder if they would do it if enough M39 owners asked them to mold for the M39.
