Default Followed me home from the Greenville, SC Gunshow

I've been looking for one for quite some time and finally found one that fit my budget. I haven't time to clean it, but will do so soon...

My first (but hopefully not last) S&W 10mm. It will join my Blued Delta Elite LNIB from 1988, Stainless Delta Elite LNIB from 1989, and my gen III Glock 21. I'd like to get one of each of the S&W 10mm semiautos but that may be a bridge too far. Would someone help me decipher the Spec. Ord. date...I've forgotten...7th day of 1991???

It came with box, tools and paperwork. Downside was it only came with one mag. I'll begin the hunt for a second mag...

Cool now you can run full power 10mm loads without your pistol blowing up in your hands LOL [every box of my Underwood defensive ammo has a white sticker warning not to fire it in a Delta Elite due to a lack of case support!!]. Welcome to the club!

Actually, it is the 71st day of 1990. So, March 12, 1990.

Yours looks brand new, untouched!

The magazines' yellow follower was superseded by white followers,BUT there's nothing wrong with yellow followers.
Magazines are rare/scarce/high premium. Numrich shows all parts in stock to assemble yourself. Buttplate, catchplate, follower, spring, and tube. Just under $60,not a bad price considering what a magazine sometimes sells for.

Congrats on your beautiful find, they truly are one of the best 10mm ever. I bought my first 1006 about 3yrs ago, now I have 4 if that tells you how much I think of them. The 10mm cartridge matches the heft and build of these 1006's perfectly in my opinion. I've shot all of mine and so far not one hiccup. Also this forum has answered any questions I've ever had, thanks s&w forum members! Brian

I have gone through three go rounds with Numrich’s on the butt plate catches. Each time they have sent me the 45 catches. I even traced a correct one and an incorrect one when I returned two times ago. They think they have 10 mm catches but apparently they only have 45 catches. So let me know if you have a work around to get the correct ones. Good luck.
