.40S&W to 10mm
Anyone have the complete list of Smith 40’s that can be converted to 10mm? TIA

The ones I know about are the 4013, 4014, 4053 and 4054.
Here's a photo of the 4053 I converted to 10mm several years ago. I still have the original slide and barrel in .40S&W. The hardest part of the process was modifying the magazines and tweaking the recoil springs. The 10mm ended up with a nested spring set on the smaller diameter guide rod....factory inner spring and a 21 lb Wolff outer spring. For some reason, probably because of the minor differences in fitting, the 10mm is more accurate than the .40S&W.

True about the CS40 , I have one Bill at BMCM converted for me . Fixing to send him my m4013 when I can . The only thing I can add is think about mags . CS40 were a pain to find , and m4013 took me two months to find . I am sure BMCM will chime in here , he is the man when it comes to this .

Here's some food for thought to those doing a 10mm conversion.
HK did not release the original USP pistol in .357; they only came in 9mm, .40, and .45acp. They DID release the USP compact in .357 though.
You can buy an aftermarket barrel for the full sized USP but the manufacturer recommends using the 9mm magazine. Somehow the USP 9mm magazine is reliable with .357 and the .40 magazine is not.
Weird.

My CS40 is waiting for the smith to ream the barrel to 10mm.
Got lucky and scored 6 mags.
I'm waiting for the barrel before I gut the mags.
