Question on my 469
I've got a BNIB 469 , and wanted one I could shoot . Found one at a show , but it's nickel . Dug it out of the safe to see how it would shine up . Pulled out the bible to see what I had and ran in to a question . According to the bible , all the nickel 469s were for Ashland Shooting Supplies and their SN#s started with TAB . Mine starts with an A . Anyone know anything about these or have one ? I'll get some pics up later .

The Ashland guns were brushed nickel. Looked like stainless and the controls were blued. I ordered one from Ashland in late 84 or early 85 and while it was the prettiest gun I had owned up to that point, I struggled to qualify with it and went back to a 39. I will try to dig out my records and find the SN, but TAB sounds right.

Mine is blued, but the serial number is very close, A867053. I don't think I've ever seen a nickled one.

The grips on the Ashland guns were like those in TNZ71's pictures. Front sights had a yellow line in the face. Rear was a white outline IIRC. There was little in the way of after-market anything available for the 469 at that time. I had the two mags that come with it and carried M59 mags as backups and a cutdown Bianchi Shadow for a 59.
The OPs looks to me like someone already tried to polish it and added the Pachs.

When I got my 469, the yellow in the front sight was way gone as is the top of the white outline on the rear sight. I used neon orange fingernail polish to fill the slot in the front sight and SharpieŽ to cover the bleed over. I went ahead and blacked out the back sight to avoid the incomplete WO from distracting me.
YMMV.

I notice this has nickel pins and side plate with blue mag release. Maybe after market finish?

Thanks for the input guys . The front site has the yellow insert , but after reading , don't know what I have . But I figure for $300 , I did't do too bad . Just have to find some grips .
