Agreed, but try finding one offline! Once you get the gun, the hunt for a few extra magazines may take longer, and cost only a little less. Yes, I want one, but not holding my breath.

There is a 1076 for sale in Spring, Tx if you are looking for one. Too far for me to travel from DFW for their asking price o $1250.

They are out there. You just have to keep looking. I’ve bought a 1006 and a 1026 from local ads and another 1006 from a forum member. Both 1006’s have gone on to other forum members now and I have only the 1026. Too expensive to keep all three fed

In my search for a 1076, I found a beater 1076 that I passed on and another that had too high of an asking price IMO, then finally settled on the 1026, which I’m very happy with. AFAIK, the two 1076’s are still available.

Any notion that a Glock is softer on recoil with any of the models than an all metal pistol is pure BS. Owned a couple 1911 variants own a 1066 an a 1026 and owned at one time both a Glock 20 and 29. Run many many rounds through 10's and the Glock 29 in particular was just nasty with say Underwood 185 grains. Many times over the felt recoil with hot loads from the plastic fantastics than my 1911's or Smiths.
My favorites are the Smiths and carryed the 1066 when i was working at a pawn shop that stayed open late regularly.
