No Victory here
I had a very disappointing day shooting today The S/W Victory pistol I just bought fails to eject the fired case causing a jam. I never could get it to fire more than three times without jamming and that was rare. Most of the time I only got one shot off. I started looking on the net for answers and wow this gun has problems when you get a bad one. I am hoping I can get my money back and will buy a revolver. I like and have other S/W guns but this is the worst gun I have ever seen.

Try different ammo before you give up on it, see if it will run on CCI Mini Mags.

Some victories have been fraught with problems. If you have a bad one, you do want your money back. Not always the most reliable S&W Model. Some are no doubt faultless tack drivers, and we will likely hear about those, but from what I have read, if you can, you might want to return or exchange it before you invest more.

Hmmmmm, think I've heard this story over and over again.
Hey good luck with that.
I think this is going to be a long one, I'm getting out the popcorn and the melted butter.

Take a look at this thread, particularly the photos posted by njsarn halfway through.

Check the position of the ejector arm/tab that is shown in post #30 of the thread that Bpflats listed above. My SW22 Victory had the exact same problem as yours, failures to eject causing frequent, frustrating jams. Once I found that thread's solution and tweaked the ejector, it functioned like a champ. No other problems with the gun at all.
So try the fix before you decide you need to get rid of it.

Bought one of the first avaliable. First range trip was a disaster. At home inspected the ejector and made a "VERY SMALL" tweak with needle nose players. Gun has run without fail for several years and thousands of rounds of all brands of ammo.

It looks like I won’t be able to return it and get my money back This is from Grabagun We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection, however by purchasing a firearm from us, you agree that upon discovering a defect in your transferred firearm that you will work with the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with their warranty policy)
. So I guess I may have to try the fix but that may void my warranty if it doesn’t work. From what I am seeing, sending it out to be fixed will take five weeks and it may still have the issue when they return it

The ejector fix, IF in fact that is what is causing your problem, is very simple. It has worked for many folks. Try it; it will not void your warranty. If for whatever reason it doesn't work, then send it in and let S&W fix it. That's their responsibility.

I've done the ejector tweak on both my sons and mine Victory's and they have performed flawlessly for about 3,000 rnds each. A quick and effective fix. Might take you 2 or 3 attempts to get it right. Mine was right the first time, my son's took 3 attempts.

Brand-new account, no "Hey, how do I troubleshoot this?", no mention of what ammunition it is, no details other than "it FTEs a lot". Just straight to bashing the gun.
This is not how you solicit help from strangers.

Looks like he got a lot of solicited help and most likely the 'fix'.
I imagine others including myself joined the forum with questions/problems.
Welcome to the forum OP!!!

Just call SW and send it to the mothership, It;s not that difficult.
My Victory was flawless from day one. I shoot it more then my classic Ruger MII.s
I guess I got the only good one they made.

I agree, send it back to Smith & Wesson. That's what warranties are for.

Yup, I guess I was another lucky one with NO problems right out of the box; but I'll remember this thread just in case.......
Doesn't like cheap SV ammo, but any decent HV feeds and fires 100%
Easy to mount Red Dot on/off and much more fun to shoot and easier to clean than my Browning and Ruger.
