Default S&W model 52 weight

I just received a 5 ounce weight from a place called DJP Precision out of Arlington Heights IL. Nicely made, it locked on with no problem. I would have preferred if it was made in high polish blue but for $77 with shipping included I'm not going to worry about it.
With it on the gun I added a couple of points to my score.

Default 52 Target Weght

I bought one of those back when they were $48.00, I was able to go to his home and pick it up, it was only 15 miles away. Still it's a great deal cheaper than the original S&W weight which MUST be fitted to the frame , or it will ruin the finish on the pistol frame. There was never a need for that to be a tight fit, he has these dialed in as I have never heard of anyone complaining about how they fit. You could get that polished up and get it blued, so that it looked nicer, but looks have nothing to do with the function it performs. Enjoy.

Default

I use one on my 52-2 and it tames the already low recoil into almost nothing.
