Default Trapper Scorpion ASP DEVEL

Does anyone have knowledge of the Trapper Scorpion? Apparently it was produced at the same time as the Asp and Devel with a similar purpose to be a cut down Model 59.

Are they if similar quality and value to the ASP and Devel? The Asps seem to bring the most money. Thoughts?

I assume you were wondering about the one that sold recently. (?)

I’m betting the quality is the same for them both. There is an ASP or two owned by members here so maybe eventually one can chime in.

Seems all of them are sought after and can realize big prices when they come up for sale. Some more than others accordingly.

Reactivating Zombie thread with more info...

There was a company called PPS Ltd (Personal Protection Systems) that apparently modified S&W 39's in a manner similar to the Asp... even to having the gutter sight. The names Trapper and Scorpion seems to be associated with them.

They also sold defense ammo at some point.

As we speak, on the big auction board is a Charter Arms Bulldog modified by them. (Search for "Charter Terminator".) So they did more than just Model 39s.
