Were those from a 'dealer' table or private non-dealer table ?

Interesting question. What do you ask? I believe all three tables that I saw these were private dealers.

Around here you have to be a FFL to sell guns at a table at a gun show. OTOH, you can walk the show with your own gun to sell if you want, but there are huge signs at the door stating no private sales. Some “tolerate” it if both buyer, & seller have a Florida CWP. The term private dealer is a conundrum. Either you are a dealer with a FFL, or you’re a guy selling guns “under the table”. Nothing wrong with that if the owners of the venue allow it, but you can NOT be a gun dealer unless you have a FFL. GARY

Gary:
The way you asked the question made me unsure what you were getting at. The fellow who had the 3913NlL and 3914NLs told me that he was a collector and was just selling off. So I think for sure he was not an FFL. At least on other small table was not a FFL so it appears the show allowed that. In addition several people were walking around with guns for sale. I like that type of atmosphere but I believe the one other gun show in JAX that I have been to is much bigger and is mostly FFLs but also allows non FFLs to have a table. Yesterday’s show was at the Pamona concert hall.

The reason for my question in post #2.
Here in Ohio at shows, There are tables set-up by FFL dealers selling new and used and require the 4473 form and background check. Then there are tables set-up by collectors/private individuals/non FFL sellers that only require Ohio ID (DL) for the transaction to occur.
In Ohio I've bought from stores (FFL) and 4473 form and background check are compatible with me.
I've been to some Florida shows (during my many trips to Florida from Ohio) but never looked at firearms as I was always looking at/for miscellaneous stuff.
