CS9 Pocket Holster recommendations?
Recently purchased CS9 with intent of pocket holstering here in FL in my cargo shorts RH top pocket. I have a Desantis Superfly for my SIG365 but the trigger keeps getting lighter (now close to 5lbs) so hoping I can find a decent holster to carry CS9 DA/SA.
My CS9 is non-ambi and TercGen just modified a set of 3913 thin grips for me, so although a bit bigger than SIG365 I think it's svelte enough.
I've seen some recommend Desantis Nemisis for Glock 26 will work or Galco??
Any pocket EDC CS9 experience appreciated. Thanks, Vinny

I also live in Florida. I pocket carry in jeans, cargo shorts or dress pants.
If you want a pocket hoster that will work with any clothes you wear than you need to speak with;
Robert. at Mika's Pocket Holsters
Some of the best pocket holsters out there. Many LEOs know.

I have pocket carried my CS9 a couple of times. I bought a DeSantis Nemesis size E1. I think it was made for a G26. But it fits the CS9 great.
I use the same holster IWB when wearing a T-shirt. Works great that way too. I did buy a DeSantis Cozy Partner off GB. I think it was for a G26 too. Works.......OK. Not as good as the Nemesis.
Hope this helps. Regards 18DAI

I use the Desantis Nemesis E1 as well. That might be at 18DAI's suggestion.
I love the Mika holster for my J frame, but found that it didn't work as well for my Bersa Thunder 380CC. The issue, I think, is that the magazine throws the balance off. YMMV on that, but that's my though FWIW.

Great Info Guys.
Leaning toward the Nemisis (on sale at Midway for <$20) but I'm also looking at the Galco for G26 which appears to have a slightly firmer shell? Anyone using the Galco??
I recall a Hickok 45 video where he compares a bunch of pocket holsters I believe for several pocket pistols he was comparing.
Anyhow, he seemed to like a holster that had a slight 'hook' to retain the holster better on draw. I think it was made by some company in Georgia or South Carolina?? Dunno maybe I can find the vid.
But really feedback from SW Forum members specific to the CS9 is more helpful. Thanks!! That's what make this Forum so valuable to All.

You might be thinking of this. Front Pocket Holster | Alabamaholster.com I have one, also for my Bersa, and while it holds the gun in place well, I found the hook uncomfortable if I sat for a long time.

I found the Hickok45 video from 2011 on 'Legal Pocket Carry' and the holster he especially liked for his PM9 was by Alabama Holster Co. It's a hard shell with a hook to help keep it in pocket and a thumb push point to help unlock it from retention. Although they offer LH or RH fit for dozens of brands and most current S&W models, unfortunately I don't see CS9/40/45 in the mix. So, back to the drawing board.
Nemesis, maybe Galco, Mika's looks good too. I want to rotate my SIG P365 or CS9 and feel confident carrying either. Most of these pocket holsters are inexpensive enough I might try several to see what works best for me, but I welcome any other suggestions. Thanks!

Nice folks. My son used to live a few miles from their retail shop, which was also a FFL. My son did a couple of inbound transfers through them.
The owner was from MA originally, so we had something in common. One day the owner and I were talking about the crazy MA gun laws and his gunsmith was listening to us. He thought we were making it up, but we weren't.
I should have remembered that they don't have any 3rd Gen holsters as that's what I originally went in to look for.

So, based upon suggestions, I'm ordering the Nemesis for the CS9 and I may also order from Mika's.
I've also ordered a 'hard shell' Alabama Holster for my SIG P-365 which will replace the soft Desantis Superfly I've been using. The trigger on the SIG, now with over 4,000 rounds keeps getting smoother and lighter, so although it shoots fast and accurately, I just want safer protection of the 'light' trigger. And hopefully the CS9 with DA/SA trigger will give me a 2nd good pocket-carry option. All my other SD pistols are DA/SA my preference.
Thanks for the suggestions and feedback! -Vinny

No need to get fancy. When I don't use a pocket holster, I have a nameless, nylon zip around holster that I got at a gun show for $12 that looks like a cell phone holder.

I have had a Kramer pocket holster for my G33 and the G26 before that for at at least 20 years. I'm a major fan.

I ended up getting a lightly used Mika CS9 from a Forum member and it's great! Conceals well, draws so easily and stays put.
Still waiting for a Nemesis I ordered from Midway $19 shipped on special; but doubtful it will be any better than the CS9 Mika.
Thanks all for the suggestions. -Vinny

Too late to help, but I came across a Safariland pocket holster (Model 25) that works well for me. It's a hard plastic, molded to the gun, with suede leather glued and sewn to the outside with a little extra suede that folds across the bottom opening. I picked up one for my various Chiefs and it works with all of them, holding them straight up but not restricting draw at all. In fact, it's the fastest pocket draw I've ever had, and over the years of carrying a backup in a pants pocket, I've tried a bunch of them. I ended up getting a second for my Kahr CM-9 that's just as good with that gun. Only paid around $20 on Ebay.

I had forgotten about Vedder's Pocket Locker.
Thanks LCC for mentioning, I have several Vedder light-draw holsters I really like, and they're just down the street from me! -Vinny
