S&W 1086 value?

Howdy everyone,

Interested in seeing if anyone knows what a fair value would be for a S&W 1086 with 6 magazines. Not a lot of info out there, especially for recent sales.

I have one, good shooter, around d 1660 made with 6 mags 1200-1500..

1076 for sale locally with 10 mags for $1999 - several weeks and no takers so far - I thought about it and sell some mags off, but I would prefer a 1066 or even a 1006 - never liked the side mtd safety/decocker - too complicated and no spare parts.

Too expensive for a shooter and with ammo the way it is... probably have to go to a collector

There was a 1066 at Cabellas that sold recently for $12xx with 4 mags if I recall correctly and there is currently a 1066 on a n auction board in the 11xx range with 3 days to go.

DAO generally go lower than TDA, but there were also less made so it may be a push between 1006 vs 1046 and 1066 vs 1086.

If worrying about spare parts is keeping you from buying one , go buy it / I bought all the parts needed from Midway . They Rare still there as of the other day . I don't shoot it or my 4536 much , but I have the parts just in case .

Mostly looking for 1006/1066 or maybe a 1086 (1046 too pricey) in preference to 1076. But may yet break down and go for 1076 if it stays there much longer.

I went back and negotiated a trade for the 1076 with the extra mags.

Depends on where you look (online auction sites v. LGS), and timing has a lot to do with finding a 1066 at less than crack-smokin' prices.
