What's a good price on a 4006 TSW?

A LGS has one for sale at $550.

What about available mags? Need 10 round mags here in CA.

Seen them cheaper. They are not on the California safe gun list.

A CHP TSW or just a regular one with the bolt-on rail? $550 for either would be a very fair price in California seeing as how they're off roster and I see plain 5906s and 4006s go for $600-$750 regularly.

In CA I can buy consignment guns from another Californian even if the gun isn't on the current gun roster.

This gun was likely a former CHP officer's piece.

It has the rail machined into the frame in front of the trigger guard

The easy way to tell if it's a retired CHP gun is by the serial number. The prefix starts with CHP XXXXXX.
To me that would be a great price here in Ca. I was looking for one when I first heard about them but wasn't able to find one.

The 10 round mags have blue plastic followers and show up for sale on ebay often for $25-$50.
