Default 2214 experts: grips ID?

Hi folks,
Picked this up years ago in a trade and never really looked at it much until recently. In researching the model, Iíve noticed that the grips on mine do not look like those on others,

Aside from the fact that they are wood, I notice that the top of the right side grip seems different than other 2214ís. It does look similar to some grips I e seen on 2206ís and VRís.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I’m most definitely not a 2214 expert but those are awfully good lookin’!

I would suspect they are modified wood stocks from the 422/622/2206. Carefully trim the bottom, use the original top screw hole and carefully drill and finish a lower grip screw hole.

They look excellent!

Yep, these are cut down from a set from one of the full sized models. I've done this for one of mine.
