Anyone us the 3906/909 nine round mag in a 3913?
Ran across a good deal on factory 3906/909 nine (9) round magazines. SW part number 190580000. Will these work in a 3913? If yes, does anyone know of an adapter to get a flush fit to the 3913? Thanks, Bob

Thanks will check those out but thought I saw something somewhere sometime made specifically for the 9 round mag for flush fit on a 3913.

Well, at the risk of being accused "argumentative", it's obviously impossible to make a longer magazine flush fit in a shorter pistol unless you chop off the bottom of the magazine! But yes, the Kahr sleeves do their level best to put a grippable surface around the magazine which extrudes from the butt of the pistol, much like the double stack sleeves that allow a 5906 15-round mag to look and feel better in the 6904/6906 series double stack pistols that were designed around a 12-round mag.
I think in both cases they look abominable but sometimes, it is function over form! I use an OEM 12-rounder in my 469 but you bet I keep a sleeved 15-rounder as the back-up mag for that pistol. I don't care for the look but it certainly does work!
If ultimately you are asking if Smith & Wesson ever offered some such sleeve rather than this Kahr alternative, I believe the answer is no. I've certainly never seen one.
The magazine you are looking at was OEM for the later 3906* pistols before they were discontinued, also OEM for the 3904, the Value Line 909 and the elite 952 series of pistols. They also happily work in the 39, 39-2, 439/539/639, but they look a little "incorrect" with the plastic base.
(*I denote "later" 3906 pistols because it might be little known that the original 3906 pistols shipped with an 8-roound magazine. The follower was soon redesigned and it became a 9-round magazine. You will notice one less witness hole in the magazine body when you find the scarce 8-round 3906 magazine.)

Good one Sevens!! As it turns out I do have a 539. I will have to check the "big auction site" as I think that may be where I thought I saw something.

The PGS adapters are for double stack mags - I have a few as well. I am looking for single stack version.

Advance X grip extension. For the single stack 3900 series mags. I think the one for the kahr requires shaving some plastic off.

I use them in a 908 all the time as reloads. They work fine, they just stuck out a little further.

IMHO The Pachmayr Kahr sleeves work great on the 3906 mags for 9+1
Even if you only use 'em for your back-ups. They function 100% in my 3913NL.
Just take your time sanding the correct angle on a flat surface.

I had a 9 round 909 mag in my back pocket when I carried my S&W 908s.

The other benefit to the sleeves is that you can firmly 'slam' the longer mags in without concern that you might override the mag indent.
