S&W 669 / 6906 mags
Anyone have a source for the 12 round 669 / 6906 mags? These go in and out of stock every few years and they have once again disappeared at the usual outlets.
Thanks

They pop up on eBay all the time and you can probably find them on GunBroker as well.

Search for Mec-Gar 6906 on the major sites, as well as eBay. I bought three last year and they are identical to factory.

Oh, yes, Mec-Gar mags are high quality, not sure if they were actually the S&W OEM manufacturer, but they might have been. Stay away from ProMag, unless you enjoy clearing malfunctions.

I think I need to amend what I said about eBay. Seems to me they have imposed a 10-round capacity limit on magazines on their site. I don't think GunBroker has any such limitation.

Some folks happen to like those 10-rd mags - they think they're made better/fit better than the 12-rounders. Have you put up an ad in the Want to Buy? I'm looking for the (one+ year old) link where a company was making knockoff's that looked good anyway.
