Default Really odd 952

Have seen a 952 for sale that is the blued and stamped like the 952 no dash billboard style but it has a 6" barrel. The claim is that it was made for the European market. The extra inch is accomplished by an add on like the model 41 with the 7" barrel. I have six model 952s and every one of them have 9mm stamped in the barrel near the ejection port, I don't see that on this one. It looks well done but I don't think it was made by S&W. Any opinions?

SCSW 4th edition mentions a 952-2 long slide with a 6" barrel sold in Germany and marked 952 Masterpiece. Product codes were 170274 for matte finish with polished accents, and 170275 for overall matte finish. Introduced by the Performance Center in 2006.
No mention of an add-on like you described, interesting.

I had one of those marked 952 Masterpiece in 6 inch with polished flats and matte. It was a stainless model not blued. Mine was never exported. I believe these were some of the last 952-2s made.

I believe those were modified by the place that S&W built them for in Germany. They’re aren’t factory as far as I know.

I think the seller is wrong and I’ll be happy to explain that to him.
