Default SW22 Victory Performance Center Feed Ramp

Not sure if anyone here can help, but I have a question regarding the Performance Center version of the Victory. I noticed on mine that cartridges have a hard time feeding because they get stuck going up the ramp. When I took the gun apart and looked at the ramp, I realized that it wasn't polished. It's the exact same color as the rest of the frame.

One of the big selling points for this gun was a "custom polished" feed ramp. Could it be that the ramp is polished in it's own way and I just don't know it, or did they miss that step and sent the gun out without polishing the ramp? Does anyone have a picture of the ramp on their Performance Center Victory for comparison?

TIA

Go shoot it.
It gets better.

I plan to but if it's supposed to be polished and it's not, shouldn't I send it back?

It's not a performance center version, but (for what it's worth) here is a picture of the feed ramp on my regular SW22 Victory.

BTW, mine runs just fine now, after tweaking the ejector inward, a little to the right.

That looks like mine. Same finish as the rest of the gun, right?

Being it's a Performance Center gun, I'm thinking of just sending it in. I'll see what they tell me tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

Yes, looks like the same finish.

But, my failure to feed problem was not due to an unpolished feed ramp, but rather an ejector that needed tweaking. The rounds weren't feeding properly because the empty case before it was not being ejected properly.

Ah! I don't have that problem. They fly out just fine.

I got an RMA today, so let's see what they do.

It's easy enough to polish yourself with flitz/ mothers. I do it on every semi auto I buy.
FWIW, my PC Victory had feeding issues with lead ammo while my target version did not. It took some tweeking to get it reliable. I eventually sold it in favor of customizing the target model.

Default Polishing the feed ramp

Like you, I polish the feed ramp on every semi-auto I buy.

I use my Dremel with a felt tip and a dab of Flitz, on medium speed for just a few seconds. I do this incrementally--just a little the first time, then a little more after each trip to the range, until I get a nice mirror shine.

I'd welcome any advice on this. Am I overdoing it with the Dremel?

Feeding is more about proper ramp geometry than how polished it is. I have owned dozens of autopistols over the years and never polished a feed ramp.
Just got a new victory ( standard version) and hope to shoot it soon.
Hoping I have no issues.
Dry fired a couple times on an empty case and they ejected just fine manually ( not a true indication of functioning in actual firing but a good sign)

When my standard Victory was new, the feed ramp was about the same finish as the exterior of the pistol. It functioned fine so I never touched it. Now after some regular shooting it is polishing out on it's own.
