4566 going price
What would be a fair offer for one of these? Don't really have any details on it yet. Not sure what all he has for it. This is what was listed in the ad.
Ambidextrous safety, 4.25" barrel with adjustable sights, rubber grips

We do not see a lot of clean ones up for sale around here.
I would say that if you can get one for six bills or less then you would be doing pretty good. I picked up my second one a couple of years ago with box and three mags for 575$. I considered it to be a pretty good deal at the time.

Adjustable sights? Hmmm.....
That's not a usual feature of production 4566 guns.
I'd want to know more before venturing a guess on a fair price.

I bought one from a private seller on GB about a month ago for $350.00 on a Buy-It-Now. He was in Long Island, NY. I suspect what else he was selling at the time and fact he had no previous feedback, he was short on funds and needed cash in a hurry. Insomuch as the Corvid-19 epicenter was a 21-minute ride away, perhaps the reasons were driven my current events. That's why I posted here about rubbing it down with Lysol when I got it. And that's exactly what I did. The price you pay sometimes isn't reflected in a few collectors bidding but what someone is willing to give it up for cash now. That's why what sells on GB isn't reflective of a pistol's worth or value, but how stubborn a few curmudgeons as is measured by not letting themselves be outbid. Just like the chumps bidding on the 1046 right now that's at $4.500 for a single stack 10mm DAO.

I bought a 4566TSW with dead night sights, one mag, no box, about 4 years ago for $525 OTD at my LGS. Hope that helps. They are great 45's, good luck with your purchase.

That's what I was thinking.
All the 4566s I've ever seen or handled had fixed Novak sights, like mine. (Excuse the glaring 'bling' of the hard-chroming )
By the way, ... my FFL found mine for me at CDNN about 10-11 yrs ago now. This was back when various flavors of ex-L.E. 'trade-in' 3rd Gens were hitting the Pre-Owned market. IIRC, I paid $375-ish before tax and shipping.

The guy finally responded to me with a price of $475. I don't know much about the older semi's so I appreciate the info. I'm going to question the sights.
This is the pic from the ad.

Good price in my opinion...... any extra mags? Doesn't look like there's a mag in it??????
For most of us here the "Pirate gun" is the "older" gun the 4566 is "just out of production"

I'm not seeing adjustable sights. For a 3rd gen gun adjustable sights would be the large shielded sight.
I see standard lo mount fixed three dot, either white dots or night sights.

You don't have to ask the seller about the sights. You can see in the picture that the rear sight is a typical FIXED Novak sight.
If his ad says the rear sight is 'adjustable,' he doesn't know what he's looking at.

Well, I guess if you get right down to it, those sights are adjustable a little bit -- if you know which way to push 'em.
