Shelter in place boredom, Ladysmith conversions?
Your opinion please, which Lady is most appealing. 3914 slide with silver lower or the reverse, 3913 slide with 3914 lower.

I’m not into two tone other than accent like sights, trigger, safety and hammer. I’ll take either all SS or all blue/annodized.

I prefer 3913 slide on 3914 lower.
But......How about just switching the grips??

I love the silver slide, black frame look. I have a few like that, but my Smiths are all matched.

I like the 3914 lower with the SS upper better. But switching up grips changes things a lot too.

I'm a purist when it comes to S&W auto collecting. Seeing guns mismatched like that fills me with dread they'll stay that way. For such heresy you should be slapped in stocks and pelted with empty ProMag and USA Mag magazines from the gathered mob. Shame! SHAME! (though two-tone pistols do look good).

Silver slide/black frame makes it look like a poly gun. So, no.

Target shooters like stainless frames with black slides.
Stainless frames so that on hot days, sweaty hands don't cause rust spots.
Black slides so that on sunny days, the silver slide doesn't reflect the sun and wash out the sights.

Never heard that theory before. Has the choice of components for the Model 745 ever been credited to that idea?
