1006/4003 parts list
Greetings,
Could anyone please direct me to a S&W parts numbers list for both the 1006 and the 4003?
I recently came upon a plastic bag of parts evidently from the factory. I was told they were 1006 parts. Each is in it's own pocket, and hand numbered with 5 or 6 digits. By adding the appropriate zeros (I think), I was able to match many of the parts up with Brownell's 4006 schematic, which I hope translates to the 4003. However, they don't show a schematic of the 1006, and Numrich doesn't list the S&W part numbers. My 4003 manual is just the generic pistol download from the factory, with no exploded drawing or parts list.
The 2 items I couldn't find listed are: 010202000 and 067860000. I would like to find out what they are, and if they would fit my 4003. Thanks in advance.

067860000 SEAR SPRING RETAINER PIN
102020000 EXTRACTOR SPRING
Both fit 1006 but neither fit the 4003.

If it helps your quest, I can say that darn near any part you find for a 4006 will also be the same part for a 4003.
A lot of parts will fit across most of the 3rd Gens, and many of the 2nd Gens also.

Sent you an in-forum email. Provide an email and I'll attach a complete parts list (pistols and revolvers) from the last year the company posted it on their website.

For pistol magazine assemblies the catalog says "See Chart".
Anybody have that chart?

EVERY part on the 4003 is the same as the 4006 EXCEPT for the stripped frame.
MOST of the small parts on the 1006 are the same as the 4006.

I may have an older late 90's hard copy when they sold/shipped parts lists in binders, but I'd have to dig through some bins to check.
