Acquired a Model 4513TSW (pre-rail) tonite
Won this 4513TSW (pre-rail) tonight at auction. I was able to check it out a few weeks ago and it's in fine condition. It will go nicely with my 4586 and 4516-1. My winning bid was $500. It comes with three S&W magazines and the carrying case. I'll be getting it tomorrow, but here a few photos courtesy of the auction company. I'm getting hooked on the 3rd Gen autos.

Very nice! I just recently acquired a 4006TSW CHP myself, and I love it.

Nice package and price for 3 mags and the case. I have had a few of them and they are great little .45s. Enjoy. One thing is for sure...if you don't like it for some reason they sell quickly!!!

The 4513TSW is my favorite pistol and 45 carry gun. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI

Congratulations! If this wasn't quite a screaming deal, it's certainly a shouting-very-loudly one!
Any time you can get a Third Gen 45 with three mags and the case for five bills, it's been a good day.
Now go out and shoot that fine 45!

That is a very good deal on a pretty scarce firearm. About two years ago I paid $600.00 for an ANIB pre rail 3953TSW, so I think you did very well.
Any of the pre rail TSW pistols are rare, so finding one at a good price is a great score.

I finally got it the range yesterday with three boxes of Speer Lawman 230 grain FMJ. I own a 4516-1 which is an all steel frame. I was curious how the 4513TSW would handle in comparison. That pistol is very soft shooting and seemed to have less muzzle flip than the all steel predecessor (4516); possibly due to the dual recoil spring design. Oh and it's a tack driver. I'm impressed and it's a keeper.

Glad that worked out well for you!
The pre rail 4513TSW was one they really got right. Not much difference in size or weight to a compact 9mm, but in St Peters favorite caliber.
I'm still carrying mine regularly. And will never part with it. Regards 18DAI

The 'soft-shooting' is the part I liked best.

Great catch, good on ya, mate.
This was my 90% of the time carry gun. And I liked it so much I went looking for a 4013TSW and found one. It now shares carry duty. (My other two carry guns are a .45 Shield for pocket carry and a Beretta PX4 in .40 that had a bunch of Langdon work done on it.
