Default 10 rd mag

Hey Folks,

I've been considering a S&W .40 cal. 4006. I'm seeing most of them take a 11 rd clip, if not more. Living in MD, we are limited to a 10 rd clip. Are there other models that have 10 rd. clips that'll fit the 4006?

The factory 10rd magazine for the 4006 is S&W part #190790000.

It's my understanding that S&W made 10 round 40S&W mags during the "Assault Weapons Ban", then went back to the 11 rounders after that expired. A search for jsbethel's part no. should get you started. It should fit the 4046 & 4043 also.

Does it say 11rd on it anywhere? Just put 10 in it.
