If you like Commanders and are not hidebound to the silly internal/external extractor argument on the internal side, it’s a very nice gun. I don’t care much for some things about it, which are basically discretionary. I’d prefer a standard trigger and arched mainspring housing on this type of gun. Those things are easily changed. It’s got decent sights and mine is plenty accurate. My main gripe is lack of front strap checkering. I guess one can’t have everything - without paying a lot more!

I had an early one, with the big billboard lettering. The fit and finish were great, it was a joy to carry, and shot well.......can't imagine why I sold it....
They are less expensive than some other models and have some nice features. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I have one with the Crimson Trace grips. Its light weight is nice for carry but the recoil is a little too stiff for me for accuracy, I would rather have a stainless in same size, that's just me.
