Looking for help for a 39-2 manufacture date

I cannot find any information to get an approximate date of manufacture for this 39-2 s/n A1489xx.
Any help is appreciated.

Early 1972 says the fantastic Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson Fourth Edition by Supica & Nahas.

Hello Peter, I have A148482 shipped June, 1971. The 39 was not shipped in any logical order.
