Default 4014 question

Are these still desireable/collectable when available? I know only 550 were made and a few years ago they were considered a curiosity at best.

To certain groups they would be collectible. I owned four of them when I was “collecting”. As always depends on the condition.

Cheers!

No outside wear, marks, or dings. There is evidence that if it was never fired, the slide was at least cycled and magazines have been dropped and inserted before. Couldn't tell you from before, but it's only been taken out of the box for pictures once since it came into my possession. Blue cardboard box and paperwork numbered original to the gun.

The 4014 makes a nice addition to the lineup

I have a 4014 and I have a 1014 . . . . only because I have not gotten around to rechambering the second pistol

Both of mine have been shot enough that they won't be collectible for 40 or 50 more years

More of a just in case. I'm also wondering if it would do better online rather than in an LGS. Never know when unexpected expenses will come up. It also has 3 magazines, it only came with one. Usually that doesn't matter, but it seems like they are much harder to find these days for new 3rd gen owners.
