S&W 4563 decock only assembly
Hello brothers,
On my last thread I was attempting to figure out what the LAPD armorer did to my 4563 CQB so that it would not decock, and then immediately return to the fire position ( the original configuration when I purchased it new). With some help from a couple of my friends on the forum and some research, I figured out what the armorer did. He replaced the entire decock only assembly with the assembly from a 4506, which decocks, and then can be placed on "safe".
Long story short, I and looking for a decock only complete assembly to be able to put my gun back to its original configuration. Obviously the S&W Performance Center has long been out of stock for parts for this gun.
I am also looking for a couple of Performance Center 8 round magazines for this gun.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Gun Parts & Firearm Accessories | Numrich Gun Parts
I think you might have some luck here. They stock a lot of S&W parts for guns no longer supported by Mother.

This may sound a little silly, but have you contacted the LAPD armory about the parts. I have dealt with them on many occasions over the years and they would always listen although they were restrained in what they would do depending on what moron in the command structure was running things at the time.

Can someone point me to a thread with what it takes to convert a 3rd gen to decock only? I did a search and haven't had any luck.
Thanks,
Rosewood

Mill a 1/8" slot approx. 0.040" deep parallel to the slide base at the location shown in the picture.
Then drill a 1/16" hole through the slot in the location shown on the picture.
Can be done on a drill press.

My 4013tsw already has that cut. Is that normal? Any other models already cut?
Thanks,
Rosewood

Pretty sure it’s common on TSW models. My 4046TSW Brinks has it, but the PC slide I got didn’t.

All of the "Railed" TSW models (whether or not the rail was installed) came with the slide mod for the "decock only" safety.
While there were others that came that way from the factory, it is my understanding that they were all "special order".

My buddy and myself both purchased the decock only assembly from Numrich and installed them on our 4013TSW models that were already machined for it. Dropped right in and works like a champ.
Thanks for the info.
