Default New addition

Snagged this 4536 , picked it up today. Looks like it has had very little use. Stepped out of my 10mm comfort zone for this one.

Sweet looking pistol. Make sure you give us a range report after you try it out.

Yes indeed, I plan on getting out to the range in the morning. The way this fits and conceals has me wishing Smith made a 1036. I regretfully passed on a 4013 a few months ago. Now kicking myself.

Make sure it has been serviced under recall - http://smith-wessonforum.com/140567632-post14.html

Thanks for the link. That was the first thing I looked for when I picked it up. Having a 1026 and a 1076 I am familiar with the recall. Both of my 10’s have the two dots. This one however does not.

That’s funny.

Great looking pistol and I’m pretty sure you will still be “comfortable”.

Back from the range. All of my 3rd gen. 10’s and 40’s run flawlessly and this one did not disappoint.
Grouped even better than I expected. I held a 3 inch group @ 25 feet. About 35 rounds in all. Considering I don’t shoot 45’s much I can’t compare fairly to my other pistols. I was a little surprised at how soft the recoil was. This might just become my new edc.
Considering what I paid for this and it’s small production number run should I risk putting it in to service?

In my opinion, shoot it , carry it, And enjoy.
I love my 4516 - 1 goes with me everywhere.
A 25 ft all shots in the center of a 10in paper plate , I'd say I'm good to go.
Enjoy 😉

Can these frame-decocker models be easily converted to DAO?
