Default 4516-1 build date

I recently purchased a 4516-1 and its currently in DROS jail. I was wondering if anyone could tell when the approximate build date of this gun was. the serial is TVB28XX. It came with nine magazines and was in decent shape plus third gens don’t come up for sale often here in california so i jumped on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Those magazines are worth a small fortune. TVA and TVC come out to 1991. Couldn't find a TVB listed. I am confident somebody with better info that me will jump in soon.

I saw that the mags go for a decent sum on GB or other auction sites. Half of what I paid could be gotten back just in magazines. LOL It also had what looked like some 4506 mags in the box too. At least 3 of those. I know from experience buying some for my 645 that those arent cheap either. I will post pics as soon as I pick it up. I have a strong suspicion it was an LEO gun by the (what I assume is) officers last name on the mag floor plates on a few of the mags in label maker. Not that that adds value but just a neat part of its history if its true.

Well i picked it up and did a full detail strip and clean. I seriously dislike these hogue grip and used a $10 off coupon on fleabay to pickup a NOS factory grip. Any idea if this hammer is going to give me problems?

**Edit** I am dumb and bought factory grips not cut for a decocker. Ugh. so if any one has any grips that fit this thing let me know.

If it is undamaged, then it should be fine.

BTW, pistol originally came with a spurless hammer.
(Apologies if you already knew that.)
